Mabecron book publishing grew from our experience as booksellers in the Devon and Cornwall areas. We recognised a need to create books which we felt did not already exist but which we had a market for.
This realisation led to the formation of a publishing company with clear ideas and a strong identity within Cornwall.
Our Bookshops in StIves, Falmouth and Padstow complement our publishing ventures and it’s in this seamless marriage that we find our creative sense of purpose. The bookshops provide local marketing and a shop window for our titles and our publishing activity provides the books our customers want and enjoy.
Each year we will add new and exciting titles, growing together alongside our experienced authors, illustrators and production team. Our wish is also to discover and nurture new talent along the way of publishing beautiful books that will be enjoyed and cherished in the hearts and minds of our readers.
